i shot the footage in february, on a lonely, homesick day in oakland, california.
i was missing my friends and family back home: no matter how close modern technology
brings the ones you care for to you, it's never close enough.
and now half a year has passed already. i can finally bring myself to finishing
this video and i realise i am already homesick again, for the friends i left behind
in the bay.
it was hard to figure out what music to use. i first wanted to use mirah's 'telephone wires', but decided to go for something less obvious and simpler. so, it's just me on a harmonica with some effects.
