christmas shopping extravaganza, shot a few days prior to christmas 2006 in downtown
san francisco.
this was not so long after my arrival in the city. before coming i had already made
this movie in my head: when i arrived at the location it was very different from what
i had pictured it to be. i wanted desparately to find some consolation in the scenery,
some poetry or subtle movement. i couldn't find it.
i still decided to shoot some material, but felt lost and frustrated. maybe this
is the reason this video is less fluent and more agressive than my previous work.
the music is a remix headcolission did of the we vs. death song "pictures from
stellenbosch".
